Served in the grade of Senior Assistant Director of Physical Planning for a minimum period of three (3) years.
A Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, or Town Planning, or any other equivalent qualification from a university recognised in Kenya.
A Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, or Town Planning, or any other equivalent qualification from a university recognised in Kenya (added advantage).
Be a corporate member of the Kenya Institute of Planners, or the Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter), or the Town and County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK).
A Certificate in a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution.
Computer proficiency.
Be registered by the Physical Planners Registration Board.
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
