Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field;
A postgraduate qualification is an added advantage;
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing gender programmes in rural or pastoral communities in Kenya;
Demonstrated experience with livestock value chains or agricultural development projects;
Familiarity with Kenya's pastoralist counties and the socio-cultural dynamics affecting women's participation;
Proven track record of working with women's groups, cooperatives, or community-based organisations;
Excellent facilitation, communication, and community engagement skills;
Ability to collect and manage gender-disaggregated data and prepare clear programme reports;
Fluency in English and Kiswahili; knowledge of a local pastoral language is an added advantage.
