Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in inclusive finance, financial sector development, development finance, or related areas.
At least four (4) years of experience in a senior-level or management position.
Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas: Digital Financial Services (DFS), Microfinance and MSME Finance, Agricultural Finance, Insurance and Risk Management, Social Protection and Financial Inclusion Linkages.
Proven experience managing large and complex development programs within African markets.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders across government, donor, private sector, and civil society environments.
Strong technical expertise in financial inclusion and development finance.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills.
Strong project management and program implementation capabilities.
Proposal writing and fundraising experience.
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Strategic thinking and business development capabilities.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Working knowledge of French, Swahili, Portuguese, or another African language will be an added advantage.
