Desdemona Consulting Group Limited (DCG) is seeking Community Research Assistants / Enumerators for a qualitative Kenya country study commissioned by the African Child Policy Forum (ACPF) on "Hidden", Unrecognised, and Under-Documented Harmful Practices Against Children. While practices such as child marriage and female genital mutilation are widely researched, the study will examine other harmful practices that may remain concealed because of stigma, social normalisation or gaps in formal reporting systems. The research will consider experiences affecting marginalised groups, including children with disabilities, children with albinism, unborn and newborn children, and pregnant adolescents. This is a short-term / temporary fieldwork engagement. The contract period runs from September – November 2026.

This is a community-based research assignment.
Applicants MUST be current residents and natives of the target county/community for which they are applying.
This requirement is intended to support cultural understanding, community trust and native-language proficiency.
